ucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers are blessed with the responsibility of assisting the Priests and Deacons with the distribution of Holy Communion in order to accommodate the faithful. The ministry demands the utmost respect and reverence for the Most Blessed Sacrament and rubrics of the Mass.
Ordinarily to be commissioned, you need to be at least 16 years of age, fully initiated in the Church (i.e., Baptized, Confirmed and made your First Holy Communion), registered and trained at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church. If married, you must be married in the Church.

Eucharistic Ministers for Homebound
Ministers of care take the Body of Christ once a week to the homebound parishioners and nursing homes. It is an ancient custom which calls for lay persons to assist the priests and deacons in the distribution of Holy Communion. The ministries of care can become a model of faith, a sign of hope, and a healing presence to the sick and the family of the sick.
