Life ministries help teach the Church's position regarding the interrelated issues regarding human life and chastity, to which communing Catholics are bound in conscience to obey, and which all people would benefit from practicing, as they stem from natural law. Our Church with it's unrelenting insistence on natural family planning, is the only comprehensive solution to the growing cultural refusal to accept appropriate responsibility to all human life from the actions which generate it to the issues involved in its various stages of health and age-an attitude that usually begins with acceptance of artificial contraception and then abortion.

 

Activities

St. Daniel's abortion mill prayer vigils are priest-led, fully parish sponsored events for which all are invited to participate, usually at Planned Parenthood (PP) on Apache & Dorsey (1/2 mile west of McClintock) in Tempe. We pray the full 4 decades, but we know it is difficult for some, and any part you can do will be appreciated. If you can't attend, consider praying the rosary before the Blessed Sacrament at the designated time. Parking is available on Dorsey, north of Apache. It is not recommended to park in the parking lot of the shopping center where PP is.

 

Fund raising

 

Last year, we had very successful Christmas tree present drive for Maggie's place affiliates (homes for unwed mothers). We will be supporting some expectant mothers' centers from time to time.

We also try to advertise links to other east valley Church pro-life activities, as well as other organizations.

 

Arizona Right to Life (AZRTL) arizonarighttolife.org-State organization for education and pro-life political evaluations.

 

Tempe Chapter AZRTL "Tempe Right to Life".meets in Pyle Center of Tempe Library on Southern just west of Rural at west end of campus 3rd Thursday of month, 7PM.

Coming Events

The Arizona Right to Life booth at Arizona State Fair is manned by volunteers (training provided). It is a great opportunity to have a pro-life presence at the fair and introduce people to AZRTL. 602.285.0063 / azrtl.org / 3700 n. 24th St. Phoenix 85016.
